NFSWizard FEDATA Tutorial
In feData.eng file, you assign the display parameters of the car.
Tab: General Identity: This assigns a unique identity to the car. This may be any word/number or combination of both but it cannot be longer than 4 characters. e-g, the identity oh Honda Civic Sedan 2002 may be HC02. Note: DO NOT ASSIGN SAME IDENTITY FOR ANY OTHER CAR, IT MAY RESULT IN CRASHING OF GAME. Serial Number: Ranges from 1 to any number. While assigning serial number, look for the already assigned numbers to avoid conflict n crash of game. It can only be numerical number/s. It must be same in both Carp.txt and feData.eng. Pursuit: This specifies either the car is a cop car or a simple race car. No: Car is not a cop car. Class: Assigns the class of cars. It is chosen on the basis of performance, but u can assign any class since u r not making a damn real car. Classes are mostly used when playing in Knockout or Tournament mode. Bonus: Car is a special car and is locked. You can see/unlock only if u meet certain conditions like win knockout or tournament etc etc. Upgradeable: If turned Yes, u can upgrade this car in career play. The car will be upgraded only if it has car1.fce and so on...as I said earlier that car1.fce is for first upgrade and same for car2.fce and car3.fce. Choose "NO" if the viv file is going to have only car.fce. Convertible: For a car to be convertible in game, it must have a special object in car.fce, names ":OT" , means "Object Top". This object has the special ability to vanish and appear in game when u choose "Top Up" or "Top Down" from car settings. If you are continuing from building that civic I showed how to make, choose "No", as civic has not ":OT" and it is not convertible in real world. Tab: Data Car Data Manufacturer: brand manufacturer name, e-g BMW, Ferrari etc etc. Model: Model/Year of the car Status: Type "Production" if the car is made to be useable be normal civilians and made to run on normal roads. Type "Race" if car is specially designed for racing purposes and not best to be used on normal roads. Car Name: Total name of the car. This will display in game while choosing car from list. Length/Width/Height: actual dimensions of the car. You can get the dimensions from the official website of the car or search on internet. Units used are inches. Tab: Compare Normal/Upgrade#1/Upgrade#2/Upgrade#3: These are specified with numbers which are displayed in car information as bars. The low/high numbers are based on the performance of car. Shortly, this is the summary display of car performance at a glance.
